Shake That Body & Seek The Truth

since the dance break above is set to the dance song THINK AGAIN we thought we'd bust some myths for you...

History is full of widely-believed theories that have eventually been debunked. And the same is true for health and fitness. Let’s face it, we love to latch onto the newest trend, even if it’s completely awful for us.

And the only way we can stop silly lies from being spread is to call them out and speak the truth until that catches on more than the lie.

As a general rule, here at the SUPERCHARGED® Society we believe it’s always a healthy thing to think again and question everything - even if everyone else is doing the exact opposite.

Here we go...

1. "I SHOULDN'T LIFT WEIGHTS BECAUSE I'LL GET TOO BULKY"

THINK AGAIN.

It really all depends on what your goals are and how you approach accomplishing them. Thinking that lifting weights automatically always equals Arnold-sized bulk just isn't true. For instance, if you focus on higher reps and form, chances are you'll just get more toned - not massive.

So to recap, you can lift weights, and you can dance as much as you want too!

Here are some avid female gym goers and heavy-lifters as proof.

2. "I DON'T NEED SLEEP"

THINK AGAIN.

If you’re not sleeping, you’re putting yourself at risk for heart disease and stroke. It might even make you more plump, depressed, and even less social, among other crappy things that no one likes.

So, rest up. Every night!

3. "IF I DON'T FEEL LIKE CRAP AFTER A WORKOUT, I DIDN'T WORK HARD ENOUGH"

THINK AGAIN.

If you’re feeling bad after a work out, chances are things aren’t going well inside your body. It doesn’t mean you’re doing something right; it means you’re probably doing something wrong. Pain does not always equal gain.

You could be dehydrated, or even overhydrated. You could also be overtraining.

Ok, time to shake it all off:

Remember, when it comes to your health and wellness: Always THINK AGAIN, seek out the truth, shake that body of yours all around when you need to, and then do it all over again.

Why?

Because you’re too valuable to live a lie. You are SUPERCHARGED®.

If you think of giving up or giving in. Think Again.
