An Eye Opening Internship Experience with Kenalpha Kipyegon

Kenalpha Kipyegon is a senior at Princeton University from the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace engineering. He is interested in Investment Management because it challenges him to use his analytical skills to solve problems in the business world.

He was one of our summer interns here at SUPERCHARGED®. This is what he had to say about the experience.

Which department did you intern for?

Operations Department.

What is one new skill you learned?

Database Management.

What is one way you stepped outside of your comfort zone?

Recorded music video and learned Database management which was completely new to me.

What is the best advice you got from your Team Lead or another team member?

Everything doesn't have to be perfect. As long as you do your best, your effort will shine through.

What internship accomplishment are you most proud of?

Web application toolkit; Coming up with database best practices and introducing Integromat to the company.

What surprised you the most about your internship?

How approachable everyone was. The company culture; energetic and passionate.

Biz Boost sessions.

Hi, my name is Kenalpha Kipyegon and I am a rising senior studying Mechanical and Aerospace engineering at Princeton. I am interested in Investment Management because it challenges me to use my analytical skills to solve problems in the business world. This summer, I worked with SUPERCHARGED companies as a Database architect intern. I was also involved in Investment meetings with Fund managers from whom I learned a lot.
